The Maqui Berry

If you’re a fan of smoothies, fresh juices, granolas & tropical treats, the Maqui Berry is your new best friend. This magical food has even more impressive antioxidant properties than the Acai berry – its ORAC (Oxygen radical absorbance capacity) is 6,120 per gram, which is two to three times greater than the acai berry. Maqui is native to Chie (pronounced Mwock-ee) contains high levels of fatty acids, vitamin C and potassium. It can be added to smoothies, sprinkled on yoghurt or simply stirred into water.
