Beauty: Coconut Oil

  • Intensive Hair moisturiser. Divide the hair into sections and spread evenly from roots to ends, If you have oily hair, avoid the roots and nourish the ends.
  • When your hair is dry, apply a small amount to frizzy ends. It will hold curls together and minimise the flyaway.
  • ‘Oil pulling’ is the natural way to cleanse and whiten teeth with coconut oil, keep the oil in your mouth for appx 15 minutes for the coconut oil to work on the bacteria Streptococcus bacteria.
  • Makeup remover, particularly eye make up or stubborn mascara
  • Moisturiser, lip balm or hydrating face mask
  • Add salt, pumice stone or sugar to create a body scrub; after you’ve dry-brushed your body with the blend hop straight into a hot bath and allow the coconut oil to soak into your skin. Pat dry with a towel to leave as much oil on as possible.
  • Cellulite, stretch marks and scars can all be reduced with coconut oil
  • Anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties make coconut oil ideal for irritated skin conditions, such as eczema or fungal infections
