Organic bakery Vivre a Vie

“Being organic or going green shouldn’t be a question.. It should be the only option.” This is the belief of organic bakery Vivre a Vie translated to ‘live a life’, on the Gold Coast. If you haven’t had the Vivre a Vie experience yet, everything is hand made, and organic. From the dairy and spinach in the quiche to the beetroot in their fresh juices and raw chocolate dessert. Although a bakery, the menu is varied and seasonal (it’s organic, remember). This is just another reason to enjoy what’s on offer before it’s too late.

There’s not much Vivre a Vie hasn’t accommodated for when it comes to the dietary requirements of a not-so-niche market. Since opening in Mermaid, Vivre is somewhere between a café and a bakery, and has gained a following of both health conscious, and food enthusiasts with their selection of sourdough, speciality breads, pastries, cakes, gourmet pies, coffee, juices and teas (Free from artificial, colours, flavours, preservatives, pesticides & chemicals of course). The result is simple: food that packs a punch and tastes even better than it looks.. Here are some of our top picks.

Whilst picking up organic hot cross buns (amazing) the temptation to experience another organic treat was too much. This is a Grapefruit and lavender biscuit, $3 each or $14 for a pack of 5.
