Gluten, dairy, sugar free Orange cake

QibeautysocialThis gluten, dairy and refined sugar free recipe is incredibly easy! It will probably only take you 10 minutes to whip up, and about 20-25 cooking time. If you don’t have small round tins, use a small loaf tin (recommend only filling half!) and cook for about 40 min.. Enjoy!


  • Fresh juice 3 oranges ย – set aside a few orange slices to decorate the tops of cakes
  • Orange rind grated into mix
  • pulp 1/2 an orange
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 1/2 cup hazelnut meal – or almond
  • 2 eggs
  • small teaspoon of each cinnamon, vanilla extract, ground cloves


  • Preheat oven to 180C
  • Squeeze orange juice into a bowl and set aside
  • In a separate bowl beat two whole eggs and add coconut, coconut flour, hazelnut meal and the spices, mix and add the orange juice as you go
  • Press mixture into small cake trays so it’s about 2cm thick
  • put one orange slice atop each cake and sprinkle with cinnamon
  • Cook for 20-25 min
  • Test cakes after 20 minutes, the cake should springย back slightly.. If it sinks and doesn’t rise back it’s not ready!
  • Remove and allow to cool for 5 minutes before taking cake out of the tin
